SERVICES: 10:30 AM Friday, March 23, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Miami, with Rev. Aaron Groff, associate pastor of Paramount Baptist Church of Amarillo, and Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor of First Baptist Church of Miami, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Higgins Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Williams was born November 17, 1927 in Follett to Peter and Nettie Booth. She worked at the Shattuck Newman Hospital Clinic where she was known as "Tiny" during her high school years. She graduated from Follett High School. She married Woody Williams on February 10, 1948 in Arnett, Oklahoma. They lived in Higgins where she worked for Dr. Davis. She then went to work at the Newman Hospital in 1965. She would later go on to work at the Higgins High School in the cafeteria, serving lunch and breakfast to the students. As a devoted Christian, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Higgins where she served as a Sunday school teacher, G. A. leader, Vacation Bible School teacher, and involved in W. M. U. She moved to Miami in 2002 and was a current member of First Baptist Church of Miami. She enjoyed stitching the boot tops, stamped and tooled leather belts and chaps with Woody in their boot shop they had in Higgins and later in Canadian. Vivian was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and known to many as "Grandma." She also had many hobbies making dolls out of beads, quilts for all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, needle work and putting puzzles together. She was preceded in death by her husband: Woody Williams on February 21, 1998; a son: Steve Williams; her parents: Peter and Nettie Booth; 3 brothers: Walter, Lincoln and Marion Booth; and 3 sisters: Virginia Herber, Edna Carter and Eunice Cole.SURVIVORS: son: Carson Williams and wife DeAnn of Miami; 2 daughters: Linda Doyal and husband Jimmey of Topeka, Kansas and Dynett Groff and husband Delbert of Amarillo; sister: Marie Wright of Las Animas, Colorado; brother-in-law: Wesley Herber of Shattuck, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren: Christy Featherston of Gatesville, Tamara Heiskell and Debra Shewmake, both of Miami, Preston Williams, Aaron Groff and Dawn Groff Williams, all of Amarillo, Kaylee Harper of Cypress, Scott Doyal and Lance Doyal, both of Topeka, Kansas, and Codie Parker of Mabank; 20 great-grandchildren; many cousins, nephews and nieces.MEMORIALS: Thomas E.
