SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, August 4, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor Michael Erickson, officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Franke was born May 16, 1922 in New Ulm. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving during World War II. Roy had been a resident of Pampa since 1946. He married Mona Fitzgerald on November 20, 1946 in El Campo. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church since 1950.SURVIVORS: Wife: Mona Franke of the home; daughter: Rosalee Jenkins of Gainesville; son: Stan Franke of Pampa; brother: Ralph Franke of Killeen; 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
