SERVICES: 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Charles Lowry, pastor of Cross Pointe Baptist Church, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Phillips was born July 15, 1918 in Preston. She married Harold Phillips on October 31, 1933 in Lark, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1998. Josie had been a resident of Pampa since 1975. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling for many years. Josie made lots of friends at church and her TOPS Club. She was very faithful and loved studying and reading her Bible.SURVIVORS: 1 son: Bill Phillips and wife Sandy of Kingston, Oklahoma; 4 daughters: Laura Vandever of Mobeetie, Sue Barns and husband Jimmy of Bridgeport, Kay Barton and husband Donnie and Elizabeth Johnson and husband Jimmy, all of Pampa; 2 sisters: Nettie Mae Sanders and Inez Petty, both of Borger; 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren.
