George Turner, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Brown was born October 23, 1927 in Terral, Oklahoma. He married Betty J. Blaylock on July 4, 1948 in Pampa. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1959, moving from San Antonio. He served with the Pampa Fire Department for 28 years, retiring as assistant fire chief in 1990. He was a deacon and member of the Fellowship Baptist Church, and taught Sunday School for many years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II.SURVIVORS: Wife: Betty J. Brown of the home. 2 Sons: Milton Brown of Howardwick and Michael Brown & wife Toni of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 1 Daughter: Carol Nuss & husband Jim of Norman, Oklahoma; 1 Sister: Ruby Smith of Soldotna, Alaska; 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Fellowship Baptist Church, 622 E.
