SERVICES: 10:00 AM Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at St. Mark's CME Church with Rev. Raymond McKever, pastor, officiating. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Watie was born Dec. 24, 1947 in Pampa and had lived in Pampa most of his life. He was a U. S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Mark's CME Church.SURVIVORS: 2 sisters: Eula Bradshaw and Kaye Simmons, both of Pampa; a brother, Herman D. Watie and wife Loretta of Baytown; and several nieces and nephews.MEMORIALS: Southside Senior Citizens Center, 438 W. Crawford, Pampa, TX 79065.
