SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 9, 2006, at the River of Life Church in Skellytown, with Rev. Danny Trussell, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hicks was born on April 19, 1968 in Atascadero, California. He had been a lifelong resident of Skellytown, attending schools in Skellytown, White Deer, and Boys Ranch.SURVIVORS: 1 son: Dakota James Hicks Collins of Skellytown; his mother: Ella Mae Hicks of Skellytown; 1 brother: William James Hicks of Skellytown. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert James Hicks, Sr., in 1994.
