BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Abernathy was born June 25, 1926 in Pampa where she was a lifelong resident. She married Bill Abernathy on May 10, 1946 in Pampa. She was a member of the First Baptist church and the VFW Auxiliary. She was a homemaker.SURVIVORS: Husband: Bill Abernathy of the home. 2 Daughters: Judith A. Salazar and Karen S.
