SERVICES: 4:30 PM Friday, July 25, 2003, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Richard Bartel, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating.

BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Broaddus was born January 7, 1932 in White Deer. He was a 1950 graduate of Miami High School. He married Penny Williams on February 14, 1954 in Pampa. He was a farmer and rancher in the Miami area, and he worked for Celanese from 1968 until 1981 as a pump and turbine mechanic. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Miami.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Penny Broaddus of the home. 3 Sons: Curtis Broaddus, David Broaddus, and Chris Broaddus, all of Pampa. 2 Sisters: Vardene Searl of Pampa, and Shirley Bailey of Miami. 10 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandson.

MEMORIALS: The American Heart Association.
