SERVICES: 10:00 AM Friday, May 16, 2003, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Pastor Richard Bartel of Calvary Baptist Church, and Rev. Fines Marchman of the First Baptist Church of Skellytown, officiating.
BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2003, at the Plymouth Cemetery in Samnorwood, with arrangements under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. West was born February 6, 1947 in Shamrock. She had been a resident of Pampa for about 50 years. She married Aubrey West on June 9, 1964 at Pampa. She was a homemaker and a member of the Highland Baptist Church. She was a longtime WalMart and Dollar General employee. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Patsy Kidwell and Martha Taylor.
SURVIVORS: Husband: Aubrey West of the home. 1 Daughter: Janie Yates & husband Mike of Pampa. 2 Sons: Preston West & wife Evelyn, and Bill West & wife Mistie, all of Pampa. 4 Sisters: Bonnie Guthrie & husband Dan of Quail, Odessa McGahn & husband Charles, Shirley Andrus & husband Larry, and Carolyn Taylor & husband Jackie, all of Pampa. 3 Brothers: Ottice Kidwell & wife Gloria of Monahans, Bill Kidwell & wife Marilyn, and Douglas Kidwell & wife Judy, all of Pampa. 1 Brother-in-Law: Eugene Taylor of Pampa. 9 Grandchildren: Coleby West, Brett West, Halie West, Aubrey Don West, Stephanie West, Michael West, Brandon Yates, Bryan Yates, and Madison Yates.
