Ron Noble, pastor of Pampa Chapel of the Apostolic Faith, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens CemeteryBIOGRAPHY: Mr. Wright was born Sept. 11, 1915 in Spiro, Oklahoma. He married Velma Wright on April 9, 1938 in Spiro. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1942. He retired from Phillips Petroleum as a mechanic in 1980 after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Top O' Texas Masonic Lodge #1381, Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star, Lubbock Scottish Rite Consistory, and Khiva Shrine Temple of Amarillo. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during World War II.SURVIVORS: Wife: Velma Wright of the home; 2 daughters: Pauline Cambern and husband Grant of Amarillo and Helen McGill and husband Bill of Pampa; 1 son: Windell Wright and wife Linda of Sherman; 2 sisters: Flora Goff of Spiro, OK and Delora Fronein of Ojai, CA; 1 brother: Irby Wright of Dallas; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Leukemia Foundation or Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
