Zerold Been

October 22, 1915 — December 28, 2002

SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, Dec. 30, 2002 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Alvin Smith, a grandson, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Been was born on October 22, 1915 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was a resident of Pampa since 1948 where he worked for various companies in the oilfield and later became a pipefitter. He was a member of U. A. Plumbers Local Union #68. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Been, on December 28, 1996.

SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Christine Smith of White Deer; 5 sons: Gerald Been and Sidney Been, both of Moore, OK; Dwight Been of Houston; Don Been of Ocean View, Mississippi; and Glen Been of Midwest City, OK; 23
grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
