Jim Powell, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Sikes was born on July 29, 1921 in Stephenville and had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. He was a foreman for heavy equipment operations in pipeline construction for Nelson-Sikes, Inc., for 39 years, and then he worked for D. E. Rice in Borger for 8 years, retiring in 1998. He married Alicia Jo Pratt on Oct. 28, 1962 in Clayton, New Mexico. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during World War II. He was a member of Hobart Baptist Church.
