SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, Dec. 25, 2002, in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Randy White, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview CemeteryBIOGRAPHY: Mr. Sidwell was born on Jan. 9, 1912 in Blacksville, West Virginia. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1933, moving from Winfield, Kansas. He married Georgia Harrison on June 16, 1935 in Enid, Oklahoma. He was co-founder, vice-president and general manager, and president of Beacon Supply from 1935 until his retirement in 1974. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Everyman's Bible Class where he served as secretary for 50 years.SURVIVORS: Wife: Georgia Sidwell of the home; 1 daughter: Karen Wimberley of North Richland Hills; daughter-in-law: Karen E. Sidwell of Englewood, CO; 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Sidwell in 1994, and a daughter, Linda Kay Sidwell, in 1941.MEMORIALS: Everyman's Bible Class, 203 N.
