She married Edwin J. Schmidt on April 10, 1945 in Pampa. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was a clerk and office manager for Consolidated Utility for 18 ? years. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist ChurchSURVIVORS: 1 Step-Son: Jerry Schmidt of Houston. 2 Sisters-in-Law: Ivy Cunningham and Mildred Cunningham. 1 Niece: Ruth Ann Litchfield. 1 Nephew: Toby Cunningham. 4 Great-Nieces: Erika Lapka, Megan Shuster, Leslie Brusa and Nikki Smith. 3 Great-Nephews: Carlo Lapka, Donny Cunningham and Sam Cunningham. She was preceded in death by a niece Bettany Cisneros in 2001, a great-nephew Joe Litchfield, and by her brothers and sisters.
