Bob Thomas, chaplain of Crown of Texas Hospice, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview CemeteryBIOGRAPHY: Mr. Martin was born on March 24, 1911 in Stockdale, Texas. He had been a resident of Stockdale most of his life. He married Lois Jennings in 1930. She preceded him in death in 1971. He was a self-employed paint contractor for his entire life in Stockdale and Pampa. While in Pampa, he worked for I. W. Tinney. He was a member of Priest Park Church of God.SURVIVORS: 1 son: W. H. Martin, Jr. of Pampa; 1 daughter: Ruthie Lea Armstrong of Forgan, OK; 2 brothers: Estel Martin of Tye, Texas and Willard Martin of Merkel; 3 sisters: Bea Smithey and Fannie Mae Rethaber both of Stockdale; and Lena Mae Quinney of Abilene; 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S.
