Jim Powell, pastor of Hobart Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Douthit was born on Aug. 15, 1937 in Grady County, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1955. He married Gwen Callan in 1956 in Pampa. He worked for Energas for 27 years, retiring in 1984. He also owned and operated Bob Douthit Autos. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and was a member of the Priest Park Church of God. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond Douthit and Haskel Douthit, and a grandson, Courtney Robert McCarley.SURVIVORS: Wife: Gwen Douthit of the home; 2 daughters: Rene Garrison and husband Rick and Carmen Knutson and husband Larry, all of Pampa; 4 sisters: Floy Madison of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Velma Jones of San Antonio; Pauline Clark of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Oleta Young of Taloga, Oklahoma; 3 brothers: Doil Douthit of Howardwick, Charlie Douthit of Pampa, and Donnie Brown of Rush Springs, Oklahoma;5 grandchildren: Kasey Garrison and wife Tiffany, Haley Monds and husband Scott, Candice Garrison, Ryan Philip McCarley, and Stephen Andrew McCarley; 2 great grandchildren: Kayla Monds and Bailey Knutson.MEMORIALS: Priest Park Church of God, 1123 W.
