SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 27, 2002, at the First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Robin Gantz and Dr. Larry Heard, officiatingBIOGRAPHY: Mr. Sutton was born May 6, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was an Eagle Scout and he graduated from Southeast High School in 1961. He received his B. S. Degree in mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University in 1970 after serving in the U. S. Army in Viet Nam. He was a Battalion Communications Sergeant at Fort Hood following his Viet Nam tour. He married Judith Ann Campbell in Kansas in 1970. They moved to Pampa in 1980. Certified as a professional engineer and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, he worked at Celanese Ltd., until his retirement in 2000. He was staff reliability engineer when he retired and served as consultant to the utilities department since retirement. He was an integral part of the successful Celanese rebuild program from 1987-89. He was extremely respected in the rotating equipment field throughout the industry.
