John T. Adair

John T. Adair, 66, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Steve Pettit, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Adair was born Aug. 26, 1947 in Perryton. He married Jenny Ruth Bentley. He was a self-employed truck driver. John was a Christian and attended First Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his parents, Worley and Ester Pletcher Adair, and a grandson, Christopher Shankle. Survivors include his wife, Jenny Adair, of the home; a son, John W. Adair of Amarillo; a daughter, Susan Shankle of Pleasant Grove, CA; and by 2 grandsons, Matthew and James Shankle of Pleasant Grove, CA. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene, 500 N. West, Pampa, TX 79065.
