Chadwrick Wayne “Chad” Van Houten, 36, died April 22, 2014 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. C. W. Parker of Harvest Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the family ranch near Lefors under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Van Houten was born January 28, 1978 in Sonora. He graduated from Borger High School in 1997 and had been a resident of Amarillo for the past ten years. Chad co-owned and operated RC Auto Glass in Amarillo with Ryan Olson. He loved to hunt and fish Survivors include his father and mother, Don and Cheri Van Houten of Pampa; his mother, Brenda O’Connor of Dublin; paternal grandmother, Darlene Hale Stewart of Odessa; grandfather, Fred Brown of Lefors; four brothers, Rikke Van Houten, and Chris Van Houten and wife Jessikah, all of Pampa, Andrew Van Houten and wife Alyssya of Amarillo, and Urvish Trivedi of Copenhagen, Denmark; two sisters, Samantha Van Houten and Sammie Stone, both of Pampa; his two dogs, Bill and Rebel; and special friends, Kendl McNatt and Ryan Olson, both of Amarillo.
