Hugh Malone "Hutch" Hutchinson, Jr.

March 11, 1930 — December 22, 2015

Hugh M. “Hutch” Hutchinson, Jr., 85, of Pampa, died December 22, 2015 in Pampa. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 15, 2016, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Jerry R. Lane, pastor of United Methodist Church of White Deer, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Hutchinson was born March 11, 1930 in Del Rio. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during peacetime. Hutch married Alice Cardwell on June 28, 1952 in Del Rio. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1954. He was a crane operator for Ingersoll-Rand, retiring in 1992. Hutch was a former member of Top O’ Texas Masonic Lodge # 1381. Survivors include his wife, Alice Hutchinson of the home; a son, Roger Hutchinson and wife Kathy of La Plata, New Mexico; two daughters, Darla Pulse and husband Bryan of White Deer, and Paula Hatley of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Clay Pulse and wife Christina of White Deer, Laura Pulse of Pampa, and Cameron Hatley of Amarillo; and two great grandchildren, Bergen Pulse and Noah Rolerson, both of White Deer. Hutch was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Pauline Hutchinson; a son-in-law, Ron Hatley; and a sister, Ladye Dorothy Stewart. Memorials may be made to Amarillo Hospice of the Plains, 508 N. Taylor, Amarillo, Texas 79107.
