Anna was as radiant in spirit as she was in life. She dedicated her time and heart to the people she loved, finding joy in small acts of kindness and care. A talented writer with a master’s degree in English, she had the gift of artfully shaping thoughtful words and expressions. She was also a deeply crafty soul who found meaning in making things by hand, tokens of love that will always hold a place in our hearts.
On September 28, 2025, Anna married the love of her life, Caleb Pickering, at home. Their bond was one of deep affection and devotion. Together, they shared years filled with laughter, adventure, and a love that grew stronger even in hardship.
Inseparable to Anna was her sister Emily. The two were very close and shared a bond of sisterhood and love.
She is survived by her husband, Caleb Pickering; her mother-in-law, Tracie Pickering; her sister, Emily Nadeau, and brother-in-law, Chris Nadeau, along with their son, Teddy, and soon-to-be-born daughter, Lily; her brother, Jason Hillman, and sister-in-law, Melissa Hillman, and their two sons, Tyson and Travis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melinda “Mindy” Michelle Hillman and Vincent Dale Hillman.
Anna’s strength throughout her journey inspired all who knew her. She faced every day with grace, courage, and a humor that could lift even the heaviest hearts. Anna’s legacy continues through the countless moments of love she gave, the laughs, stories, handmade gifts, and every word she wrote. Her spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
She will be remembered as she most loved to be: at home, crafting something beautiful with a good cup of tea, her laughter filling the room, surrounded by love, with the sunlight softly on her face.
