Barbara Davis

Barbara Davis, 78, of Pampa passed away Wednesday August 5, 2020 in Pampa.

Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Ranch.  Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Davis was born on August 22, 1941 in Shamrock to Wesley and Janice Sublett.  She was a 1959 graduate of McAllen high school.  Barbara married Jim Davis on June 30, 1964 in the Rio Grande Valley town of Pharr.  For 56 years, she was a rancher’s wife following Jim to Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado and finally settling in the Texas Panhandle in 2004.  As a rancher’s wife she cooked, helped work cattle, opened gates, and patched up her husband.  Anytime you saw Barbara her dog, Cinnamon, was not far behind.  She loved spending time with her family and was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Jim of the home; two daughters, Robin Jones and husband Jeromie of Stinnett and Billie Hogie of Missouri; six grandchildren, Kristie Baldivia, Carrie Stoddard, Harley Harkey, Jessica Malone, Kassidey Jones, and Wyatt Jones; and five great grandchildren, Zoe Baldivia, C.J. Regensberg, Halley Harkey, Z’Anna Baldivia, and Haisley Mills.
