Barbara Gayle Morrow, 84, of Pampa, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in Pampa.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Willis, interim pastor of Pampa First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Barbara was born November 27, 1941 in Lewisville, Texas to Ted and Opal Wallace. She graduated from Southwestern High School in Waxahachie in 1960 and later earned her associate’s degree in education from Amarillo College. Barbara married Paul A. Morrow on April 7, 1962 in Borger. They celebrated 57 years of marriage before he passed away on February 22, 2019.
Barbara was a longtime member of Pampa First Assembly of God, where she was very active in all church activities. She had strong Christian values and served the Lord faithfully. Barbara was not only strong in her faith but was also strong for her family. She loved them dearly and would do anything for them. Barbara was kind and had a sweet spirit about her.
Barbara served as secretary of the DAV for many years. She also was a substitute teacher for Pampa ISD. Barbara enjoyed spending time at Pampa Senior Citizens Center fellowshipping with friends and occasionally playing Bingo and Dominoes. She would also play games at her apartment complex when she was able.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Paula Morrow.
Survivors include her two daughters, Pauletta Nall and husband Ted of Amarillo and Pamela Mitchell and husband David of Durango, Colorado; four grandchildren, Jennifer Eberting and husband Andrew, Justin Oxley and wife Christina, Jerid Oxley and Sydney Clark, and Alexandra Mitchell; four great grandchildren, Andie Cae, Audrey, Damon, and Lola; four sisters, Gloria Sue Somers and Sharon Beuke and husband Vernon all of Plano, Sandy Gorman and husband Bobby of Waxahachie, and Teddie Wallace of Garland.
