Lee Elder, 102, of Pampa, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Pampa.

Private family services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Joel Osborne, pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.

Mrs. Elder was born May 26, 1918 in Clarksville to John and Mary True. Lee attended school in Hollis, Oklahoma. She married Ivie Elder on Sept 18, 1942 in Borger. He passed away on December 20, 1993. Lee was a checker at Holt's Food for over 25 years. Upon her retirement in 1980, she moved to Pampa. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, and tending to her garden. Lee was a member at Fellowship Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a great great-granddaughter, Adilynn Kyle; an infant great great-grandchild; four sons-in-law, Tommy Castagnetta, Gail Everson, Johnny Belt, and Charles Powell; four sisters and three brothers.

Lee is survived by three daughters, Linda Everson, Shirley Powell, and Jane Belt, all of Pampa; a brother, Clifford Colwell of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Tammy Jones and husband Garry of Pampa, Angela Kyle and husband Darrell of Pampa, Vickie Morton and husband Rudy of Amarillo, Tommy Powell of Borger, and Sharon Belt of Pampa; 10 great-grandchildren, Chelsie, Dillon, Tommy, Ashlynn, Christina, Mark, Shawna, Jeremy, Dustin, and Phoenix; and 8 great great-grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231, or your favorite charity.
