Betty L. Crable

Betty L. Crable, 97, of Pampa, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Betty was born on September 23, 1928, in Altus, Oklahoma to Rueben and Louada Claunch. She lived in California for 30 years and spent much of her time as a professional seamstress. She was also very talented in crocheting, oil painting and embroidery.

After moving to Pampa, she was employed at Pampa Regional Medical Center, retiring after ten years of service. She was also a member of The Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Betty is survived by three nieces, Sherry Cooper of Cedar Park, Alana Menasoff of Cedar Park, and Patricia Clark and husband Charlie of Woodland, California; three nephews, Larry Larkin and wife Mimi of Lakeway, Lloyd Larkin and wife Mary of Amarillo, and Ron Larkin and wife Kay of Pampa.
