Betty Gale Harrell, 76, of Pampa passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 in Pampa.

Betty was born November 4, 1944 in Wellington to LV and Laverne Bruce. She attended Pampa High School and went on to earn her dental hygienist degree from Amarillo College in 1970. She was the first class of dental hygienist to graduated from Amarillo College. Betty worked as a hygienist in the Pampa area until 1997. On July 11, 1997 she married Herman Harrell in Pampa. They moved to Durant, Oklahoma in 2004, moving back to Pampa in May of 2021. While in Durant, she worked at the Choctaw Casino and Resort for over 9 years. When she wasn’t working, Betty enjoyed playing the penny slots and traveling. She was a loving wife, mother, and a wonderful grandma Betty to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and her 2 brothers-in-law, Don Jenkins and Danny Towles.
Survivors include her husband, Herman of the home; 2 sons, Shane Dyer and wife Shelly and Brent Dyer and wife Kim all of Pampa; a daughter, Angela Waters and husband Roy of Pampa; sister, Linda Jenkins of Corinth; 2 sisters-in-law, Glenda Budenhagen and husband Ronnie of Parsons, Kansas and Jewel Towles of Parsons, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Jason Dyer and wife April, Tanner Dyer and wife Amy, Cody Dyer all of Pampa, Nick Dyer and wife Savanna of Amarillo, and Nichole Bogges and husband Bryan of Pampa; and 12 great grandchildren.
