Betty was born on February 7, 1942, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Emmit and Helen Richardson. As a young girl, she moved to Fresno, California where she grew up and finished school. While in Fresno and in the 60’s, she met Samuel Hall and they would become life-long friends that would later marry on April 1, 1990. She and Samuel tried their best to travel and see as many places in California as possible before his passing.

After Samuel’s passing, Betty would move to Pampa to be closer to her brother, Tony Richardson. During her time in Pampa, she and Tony made up for lost time as siblings. While in Fresno, Betty worked in administration with a focus on accounts receivable for several years before retiring.

Betty was a compassionate woman who loved wildlife, cared immensely for her pets, and chose to be vegan to help protect animals. She was also a talented and artistic woman who painted and could be found drawing sketches every day. She will be remembered as an unconstrained woman who was a resourceful person who always tried to be as independent as she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and a sister.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Kelly McCracken and husband Richard of Reno; two granddaughters, Brianna Harris and husband Joshua, and Kristina Watson, all of Reno; two great grandsons, Traydon Sledge, Jr., and Tayvon Sledge; two nieces, Debbie Rohling of Pampa, and LaPrinia Richardson of Chickasha, Oklahoma; two great-nieces, Lauren Webster, and Lindsey McCormick; and other extended family.
