Billie was born on February 6, 1933, to Francis and Florence Traylor in Allison, TX. Billie married the love of her life Orvil Williams on June 5, 1951, and they spent 72 wonderful years together. On August 18, 1953, they had their only child, Pamela Jo Benton (Williams).Billie and Orvil traveled the country together in their RV and almost made it to all 50 states. She also loved the many, many summers spent in Colorado with her family. Billie was the sweetest soul, with the most calming nature. There will never be another person like her. She enjoyed writing in her diary and sewing when she could. Billie made the best chocolate cake on earth and always had something sweet on the counter.

She handmade each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren baby blankets that will be cherished forever. Billie loved and took care of her husband even when he teased her (she called him the “aggravator” as a loving joke) She enjoyed more than anything though spending time with her 4 great grandchildren, Scarlett often stayed days at a time at her house and never wanted to leave.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Pamela Jo Benton (Williams). I know they are having the best birthday celebration today as I write this.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Orvil; a son-in-law, Mark Benton and wife Jami; a sister, Betty Jo Williams; grandchildren include Paige Gaines and husband Audie, and Grant Benton; great-grandchildren include, Scarlett Olivia-Claire Benton, Karter Kain Salinaz, Audie Jo-Lynn Gaines, and Navy Channing Gaines; a niece, Leslie Wells and husband Rodney, a nephew, Brycie Williams and wife Judy; great-nieces, Ashley Willett (children Breken and Colby) and Shelby Brown; a great-nephew, Juston Williams; and many other amazing friends and family members.
