Billy Glenn Brown, 62, of Pampa, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at his home.
No services for Billy are scheduled currently. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Billy was born on June 26, 1963, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Alice and Melvin Brown. The family would move to Pampa where Billy was raised and eventually would graduate from Pampa High School. Shortly after High School, Billy would enlist in the U.S. Army and would be honorably discharged two years later.
After leaving the Army he became a “jack of all trades”, working many different jobs but being a mechanic and doing electrical work were his favorites. Billy would later become a Ranch Manager, an occupation he would hold almost up until his passing. In July 2008 Billy would meet the love of his life, Trinnia Watson, the two spent nearly twenty amazing years together before Billy’s passing. For the last few years of his life, Billy selflessly volunteered with the Skellytown Volunteer Fire Department.
Billy was a very caring and gentle man who was often described as a “gentle giant”. He was hardworking and had a great sense of humor. Billy had a tremendous amount of love for his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. When he wasn’t working Billy enjoyed listening to music and working on cars, especially his prized 1979 Ford Ranchero named “The Scorpion”. He will be remembered for his kind nature, his dislike of yogurt and tomatoes, and accidentally turning a skid-steer into a “submarine”.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; and a sister, Monica Appleton.
Survivors include his wife, Trinnia Watson; a daughter, Lexi Watson; a son, Cody Brown and wife Kaycee; a sister-in-law, Tonia Hardy and husband Billy; a niece, Serenity Watson; two nephews, Odin and Vincent; four grandchildren, Mavryck, Kohen, Aiden, and Allyson; a brother, Donny Brown; a sister, Wanda Deemer; and his four legged sidekick, Buddy; as well as many more loved extended family members.
