Brandy Karr

Brandy Dawn Karr, 52, of Pampa, passed away on January 16, 2026, in Pampa.

Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Brandy was born on November 2, 1973, in Texas. She grew up and attended school in Shattuck, Oklahoma and graduated from Shattuck High School in 1992. After high school, Brandy went to Oklahoma City Community College for the first part of her journey in health care education & accreditation and then finished at Southern Nazarene University to complete her degree in nursing. Following her graduation, she worked for several years in the Oklahoma City area for providers such as Newman Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, and a long tenure at Integris Baptist Medical Center.

Brandy would return to Texas, living in Pampa, to help care for herself and her parents. She liked being with her family, whether it was simply sitting outside on the porch having a visit, or cooking out, she found much comfort spending time with the people she loved. Brandy’s foremost importance in life was being a good mother to her daughter, Rylee. Brandy will be missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mickey and Janet Karr.

Brandy is survived by her daughter, Rylee Karr; brother, John Karr and his wife Frances and their three children, JasLynn, Alisia and Suade; and other extended family.
