Brenda Greenwell, 59, of Pampa, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Pampa.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jamisen Hancock of Briarwood Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Brenda was born on April 15, 1966, in Elwood, Indiana to Bill and Virginia Hughes. She grew up and attended school in Indiana. She would meet the love of her life, Jerry Greenwell and they married in 1981, in Canadian. Soon after they would start their family. They would live in several places before Jerry preceded her in death in 2015.

In her spare time, Brenda enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts, loving on her cats, and especially reading her bible. She will be remembered as a peaceful, loving, and giving woman that her family and friends will greatly miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Billy Joe Hughes and Stacy Hughes.

Brenda is survived by four daughters, Jonie Griffith and husband Chad of Pampa, Kerry Greenwell of Palm Bay, Florida, Jennifer Llorente and husband Sean of Rotonda West, Florida, and Renee Medina and husband Jesus of Kansas; son, Jared Greenwell and wife Marranda of Brooksville, Florida; sister, Crickat West of Pampa; brother, Tony Hughes of Pampa; 14 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and other extended family.
