Bret M. Bell

Bret M. Bell, 61, of Pampa, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

Graveside services will be 10:00AM Friday, January 31, 2020, at Fairview Cemetery with Jeremy Buck, pastor of Redeemer Pampa, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Bret was born July 26, 1958 to John Lee and Anita Bell in Pampa. He married Cathey Carpenter August 5, 1976 and they remained married for 43 years. Bret was an avid hunter and rancher. He loved his family and his dog, Bentley. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

He is preceded in death by a nephew, Will Vise, along with his maternal great-grandparents and grandparents, as well as his paternal great-Grandparents, grandparents, mother in law, Carol Carpenter.  

Bret is survived by his wife, Cathey Bell; his daughters, Halley Roberson and husband Dustin, and Maurey Bell-Thomas and husband Phil; his son, Matt Bell and wife Brittany; grandchildren, Brayden, Brailey, Brenden, Rowdy, EddaLee, Kyndal, Owen, Ross, and Rooney; his parents, John Lee and Anita Bell; two sisters, Brooke DeFever and husband Lance and Brenda Brown; father-in-law, Don Carpenter; sister-in-law, Donna Porter and husband Bud; two brothers-in-law, Rick Carpenter and wife Connie and Randy Carpenter; two nephews, Ethan DeFever and Andrew Brown; and a niece Erin Christianson, and numerous extended family.
