Carolyn L. Froggé, 86, of Pampa, passed away on October 8, 2021, in Pampa.
Graveside Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Commissioned Pastor Nancy Ruff, of First Presbyterian Church in Clarendon, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Carolyn was born on May 13, 1935, in McPherson, Kansas to Ralph and Edith Smith. She attended school in McPherson until her family moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1953. After graduating, Carolyn attended a school for secretaries for a few semesters.
In 1955, Carolyn married her best friend, Buell Froggé in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The two of them were married thirty-six years until he preceded her in death in 1991. They moved their family to White Deer from Tulsa in 1957, so that Buell could work at Cabot in Pampa. In 1959 they bought a home in Pampa to be closer to work. Carolyn started working at Highland General Hospital in 1970 in the medical records department. She enjoyed her career at the hospital until 1991 when she retired.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buell; granddaughter, Jennifer Hernandez; brother, Kenny; and two sisters, Margie and “Sis”.
Survivors include her son, Tony Froggé and wife Cindy of Pampa; two grandsons, Ryan Froggé of Pampa and Benjamin Froggé and wife Amanda of Cold Spring, Minnesota; great-granddaughter, Dayana Froggé of Pampa; great-grandson, David Froggé of Cold Spring, Minnesota; brother, John Smith of Los Angeles, California; niece, Kay Peterman and husband Bill of Kansas; and numerous other relatives.
