Charlotte Parker Lewis

Charlotte Parker Lewis, 83, of Pampa, passed away, Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in Pampa.

Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2020 in Memory Gardens Chapel of Peace Mausoleum with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor at First Baptist Church, officiating.  Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Haven of Rest Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Lewis was born December 11, 1936 to Raymond and Edith Parker in Rusk.  Charlotte was raised in Pampa and attended Pampa schools, graduating in 1955.  After graduating high school, she married her high school sweetheart Harold Lewis on August 19, 1955 in Pampa.  He preceded her in death on December 14, 2014.  In 1956, they both attended the University of Houston because of Harold’s football scholarship.  Later that year, twin boys, Howie and Dean were born.  In 1961, twin girls, Andrea and Annette were born.  Harold and Charlotte returned to their hometown in 1963 to raise their family.  Charlotte worked for Cabot Cop and IRI where she ultimately retired after many years of service.  She had a very active social life.  Charlotte was a member of Desk and Derrick and First Baptist Church.  She was a very warm and loving person who frequently commented, “I love everyone in my Sunday school class.”  Charlotte loved attending her children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s activities.  Her hobbies included scrapbooking, genealogy, sewing and reading her bible.

She is survived by four children, Howie Lewis of Pampa, Dean Lewis and wife Debbie of League City, Andrea Caison of Beaumont, and Annette Juhl and husband Tom of Austin; five grandchildren, Shea Resendiz and husband Joey,  and Hunter Lewis all of Pampa, Colton Lewis of Miami, Florida, Allie Juhl of Austin, and Parker Caison and wife Cori of Houston; and two great-grandsons, Brycen Lewis and Prince Resendiz.
