Christi was born on August 11, 1956 in Snyder to Dale and Pat Meynig. She grew up in Snyder and attended schools there, but she graduated from Colorado City High School. Right after high school she started dating her soon to be love of her life, Cary, and three months later they married on February 28, 1975 at the First Baptist Church of Colorado City. She worked for Weatherford International for several years. Christi and Cary spent many good years in Snyder before they made their home here in Pampa. Christi had a lot of interests and passions which included working in her flowerbeds, and she was proud of her roses. She also found great enjoyment and pride with her sewing and quilting.
Christi was a family centered woman who loved her husband immensely and had great pride for her son, Calyn for retiring from the U.S. Air Force and loved her relationship with her daughter, Cailey, and they were more than mother and daughter, they were best friends. She also loved all her grandchildren to the moon and back. The family misses her and love her bunches.
Christi was preceded in death by her father, Dale Meynig.
Christi is survived by her husband, Cary Coffee of the home; son, Calyn Coffee and wife Stephanie of Miami; daughter, Cailey Fleming and husband Colter of Colorado City; her mother, Pat Meynig of Colorado City; sister Suzan Lamb and husband Mike of San Angelo; 3 granddaughters, Candence Coffee of Miami and Chazzi Steen and Rylee Fleming both of Colorado City; and grandson, Sawyer Fleming of Colorado City.
