Chris was born in Pampa to Bob Doucette and Pam Doucette Chamberlain. Chris grew up in Pampa attending Travis Elementary, Pampa Jr. High and graduating from Pampa High school in 1994. He went on to Universal Technical Institute, graduating in 1996. Chris met Sarah Oxley in 1992 after their five-year courtship they married in 1997, making their home in Pampa. They had two children of their own, but helped raise many others, always offering support to friends and loved ones.
Chris was a man who lived out his faith daily in the way he loved his family, the way he treated others, and the integrity he put forth in all that he did. Chris was truly a man of knowledge and generosity. He would not only help others fix something but would show them how so they could learn to fix it themselves. Chris was a part of Briarwood church devoting his time and energy to anything the church needed. He was a 1 Timothy 6:11 man, “pursuing righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight for true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.” His loss will be felt in our hearts forever.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Berton Doucette; mother, Pam Chamberlain; grandmother, Patty Boyd; grandfather, Deano Boyd; uncle, Darrell Martin.
