Upon graduating high school, she entered the workforce. Cydney worked in various occupations in her earlier days in the agricultural industry cowgirling for different swine and cattle operations. Cydney was also a hard-working woman who put many others before herself. However, what brought her the most pride was being a born-again Christian who was always trying to worship, praise, and bring others to Christ. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and by her favorite companion, her dog, Zianna.

She was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
