Cydney was born on February 1, 1972, in Pampa to Robert and Judy Morriss. She was a life-long resident of Gray county growing up in Lefors and graduating from Lefors High School. Upon graduating high school, she entered the workforce. Cydney worked in various occupations in her earlier days in the agricultural industry cowgirling for different swine and cattle operations. She also had many years in the service industry, both in food and convenience. The last few years she was working for Toot'n Totum where she managed at the Pampa location and most recently in Borger.

Cydney was a talented woman who liked to draw and paint. She was a fun-loving and quick-witted woman who was usually the life of the party and easily made friends. Cydney was also a hard-working woman who put many others before herself. However, what brought her the most pride was being a born-again Christian who was always trying to worship, praise, and bring others to Christ. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family, and by her favorite companion, her dog, Zianna.

She was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
