Cynthia Lynn “Cindy” Hannon- Solis, 58, of Frisco and formerly of Lefors, passed away on July 28, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 -7:30 PM, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the funeral home.

Cynthia was born in Pampa TX., on November 23, 1963 to Jimmy and Betty Hannon.  She grew up in Lefors and attended Lefors schools. Cynthia was known to be a fast runner, outrunning all the boys at school. She was the first recipient of the Presidential Physical Fitness award while in elementary school in Lefors, an early sign of her determination to do everything to the full extent. Some might say Cynthia was “over the top” and she was, at everything she did in life.

Growing up in a small town, she rode motorcycles and might have even drag raced a car or two down Main Street. Cynthia was close to both sets of grandparents in her young life. She graduated from Lefors High School in 1982. She worked for the M.E. Moses Co. during high school. After graduation, she moved to the Houston area. While living there, she worked as a model and then a receptionist at a hair salon. Cynthia moved back to the Texas Panhandle in the late 1980’s.

She worked as a finance manager at Pampa Ford then Gene Messer Cadillac in Amarillo. She then went on to work in outside sales for Cellular One and later became an independent owner for them. Cynthia owned stores in Pampa and Amarillo, she also had salespeople in Borger, Canadian, Miami, and Guymon.

In 2004, she met her future husband, Ronn Solis, and they married on August 6, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She and Ronn later moved to Frisco, TX, where Cynthia became a stay-at-home mom.

She loved her children and family. Cynthia was a good daughter, sister, and mother. She was loyal to a fault and would go to the end of the earth to care for those she loved. Cynthia loved the Lord and was deeply rooted in her faith. Her faith had grown stronger over the last several years.

Cynthia loved to serve in church and participated in many activities. She also had a tremendous passion for shopping that she inherited from her mother. Cynthia used that passion to spoil those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Hannon; grandparents, Jimmie and Nannie Hannon and FA (Toby) and Ollyne Williams.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Ronn Solis of Frisco and children Brittany Tarbet and husband Bryan Johnson of Baytown, Shea Tarbet of Denton, TJ Leach of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Dominic Solis of Frisco, step-children, Elijah Solis and Gabriella Solis, both of Wichita Falls; father, Jimmy Hannon of Pampa; brother, Jimmy Hannon Jr. and wife Dre of Amarillo; sister, Ginger Jernigan and husband John of Lefors; grandchildren, Kadin Leach, Madison Leach and Declan Robert Johnson; niece, Harli Jernigan of Claude; nephews, Trae Hannon of Nazareth, Bradley Hannon of McLean, Keegan Jernigan of Lefors; and many friends throughout the country.
