Daniel Joe Stephenson

Daniel Joe Stephenson, 63, of Arkansas, formerly of Skellytown passed away on February 22, 2020.

No services scheduled at this time; inurnment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Local arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Daniel was born April 20, 1956 in Borger to Bill and Billie Stephenson.  He was raised in Skellytown and attended schools in Skellytown and White Deer.  He worked in construction with his two brothers for many years until he moved to Colorado.  Daniel worked as a guard at a maximum-security prison until his retirement.  When he retired, he moved to Arkansas to enjoy fishing, arrowhead hunting, and being outdoors enjoying nature.  He had a love for all animals and will be missed by his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, David Stephenson, and Randy Stephenson.

He is survived by his son, Tommy Joe Stephenson; sister, Lynda Denney and husband Bobby; and 5 nieces and nephews.
