Donna Closser

Donna Closser, 67, of Pampa, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 with her family by her side.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Joel Osborne, pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Donna was born on May 29, 1958 in Columbus, Mississippi to Dorothy Morgan. She married Rick Closser in 1976. They moved in 1995 and made their home in Pampa. Donna was a homemaker for most of her life. She loved caring for her family and took pride in it. Donna also enjoyed collecting all sorts of things. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Morgan; her maternal grandparents, Ben and Bessie Kennedy; one granddaughter, Chyanne Gwenith Welsh; one sister, Terry Britt; three aunts, Georgia Von Kanel, Vanita Kennemer, and Roxie Martin; and three uncles, Phanise Kennedy, Mitch Kennedy, and Don Martin.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Closser; two children, Michael Closser and wife Amanda and Lorri Welsh and husband Daniel; five grandchildren, John Johnson, Hope Closser, Alexander Welsh, Eva Kelley and husband Colton, and Thomas Welsh; five siblings, Bennie Britt and wife Jenny, Joel Britt and wife Maura, Tracy Britt and wife Debra, Darrin Britt and wife Pamela, and Debbie Britt and husband Mark; one aunt, Jeannie Conner; one uncle, Doyle Kennedy; special cousin, Rhonda Kennemer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
