Donna C. Murphree

Donna C. Murphree, 81, of Pampa, passed November 25, 2022 in Pampa.

Private graveside will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Donna was born February 9, 1941 in Pampa. She was a lifelong resident of Pampa and worked as a bookkeeper for various companies over her career.
Donna was an avid animal lover and adopted several pups from the local animal shelter over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband James A. Murphree, her daughter Cynthia L. Stanley, her sisters Shirley J. Riegel, Vi O’Brien and her mother and father, Theo Howard-Riegel and David C. Riegel.

She is survived by her nine grandchildren, Melvin Joseph Carroll of Leesville, LA, Amber Reid of Orange, TX, Joshua Verhovshek of Newark, TX, Jason Barrett of Stillwater, OK, Jennifer Carroll of Seminole, OK, Samuel Carroll of Lexington, OK, Travis Carroll of Siloam Springs, AR, ERA West of Kinder, LA and Lita Cadena of Clovis, NM. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren, one great granddaughter and three stepchildren, Johnnie Jones of Clovis, NM, Joe Murphree of Amarillo, TX and James “Bubba” Murphree of Pampa, TX.
