Pampa

Donna Darline Stevens, 82, of Pampa, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Fairview Cemetery with John Curry, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Donna was born on October 6, 1942 in Waynoka, Oklahoma to Casey and Isabelle Bradt. She was raised in Waynoka and was a graduate of Waynoka High School. Donna met Gary Stevens when they were children and lived on the same street. Even though Gary’s family moved to Pampa in 1954, when he was just 11 years old, he never forgot his childhood friend, Donna. The two reconnected and were married on September 4, 1965 in Waynoka. They were happily married for 50 years until Gary’s passing on October 19, 2015. Donna was a homemaker for most of her life; she took great pride in caring for her home and her family. She was a devoted wife, and the best mother and grandmother.

Donna enjoyed traveling, her favorite places were Fort Cobb and Branson, Missouri, anywhere she could go fishing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Donna was always kind and welcoming, there was a seat at her table for everyone. She was incredibly strong-willed and had no problem keeping her family in line. Donna loved her sunglasses and wore them everywhere she could. Her soft nature, determined spirit, and sense of humor will be missed by her family and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Casey and Isabelle Bradt; and her husband of 50 years, Gary Stevens.

She is survived by her two children, Rusty Stevens and Danielle Baker, both of Pampa; grandchildren, Chelsea and husband Leon Williams, Gunnar Stevens, Garrison Stevens, all of Pampa, and Gracie Stevens of San Angelo; two step-grandchildren, Danny Vizcarra and Sean Baker; three great-grandchildren, Gavin Williams, Gage Williams, and Gabriel Williams; sister-in-law, Vera Barton and husband Bart; niece, Mary Edna Barton; and nephew, Kip Barton and Silvio Rodrigues.

Donna’s family would like to thank Fresenius Dialysis Center for always taking such good care of Donna.
