Doyle Wayne Harvill, 68, of Pampa, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Pampa.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Jim Sinyard, pastor of Carpenter’s Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Doyle was born on September 1, 1952 in Wheeler to George and Mary Mae Ashcraft Harvill. He attended school in White Deer and graduated in 1972. Doyle joined the Navy in 1978 and was stationed in Chicago. He married the love of his life, Patricia Gryder, on August 10, 1979 in Pampa. Doyle cowboyed during his younger years in White Deer for local ranchers and rode bulls at every rodeo. He worked as a boiler maker at Mundy Company for several years. Doyle owned a mechanic shop in Pampa for few years. He enjoyed hunting, working on models, rebuilding cars, watching football and old westerns. Doyle was always willing to help his neighbors and was the first to mow their yard if they needed it. He will be remembered for his generous heart and his love for his family including the four-legged ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; 2 sons, Nick Harvill and wife Heather and Ricky Harvill and wife Niki all of Pampa; 1 brother, David Harvill of Dallas; 3 grandchildren, Emily, Mayson, and Gracyn; 5 nephews; 1 niece; and several dear friends.
