Anne was born the youngest of four daughters to Frank and Imogene Silcott on July 3, 1943 in Pampa, TX. She was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church where she boasted 13 years of perfect attendance as a young girl. Her love for Jesus was evident in the way she cared for her family and friends and the legacy of love she leaves behind. Ms. Anne or Annie as she was affectionately known, loved all people fiercely and demonstrated that love daily by helping and encouraging others to be better. She never met a stranger, rooted for the underdog and she was always willing to go above and beyond to help others, no matter the need. Her generosity was beyond compare and if there was something she had, but you needed it more, it was yours. Anne was a saint, an angel in disguise, a second mother, and the hands and feet of Jesus to so many people. Many will remember her big personality, feisty spirit, and her hot pink lipstick that was always within arm’s reach.
Anne graduated from Pampa High School in 1961. As a young woman she was employed many places including the telephone office, bra factory, jewelry stores, Tralee Crisis Center and Genesis House. In her later years, she was well known in the Bail Bonding Business where she lovingly helped many people through difficult circumstances.
Her biggest blessings in life were her cats, but she sure loved her children too. Being a Mom and Grandy were her greatest achievements and she was immensely proud of her family. Her impact in the world will never be forgotten and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Stan Organ and wife Gail of Dickinson, TX, Steve Organ and wife Janene of Pampa, Jolea Herring and husband John of Farmington, NM, and Angel Wheeler and husband Jason of Pampa; her eight beloved grandchildren, Kaleigh Lucas, Ashlynn Organ, Hannah Herring, Zoie Herring, Harley Organ, Maxx Organ, Emma Wheeler, Eleanor Wheeler; two precious great grandchildren, Lily Kelley and Lainy Lucas; a sister Roberta Babb, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Frances Edwards and Mary Janis Lewis, and her great nephew Dustin Stoddard
