Frances Kay O'Neal

Frances Kay O’Neal, 81, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at her home in Pampa.

Memorial graveside services will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapday, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Frances was born on February 16, 1942 in Friendship, New York to Lytle and Gertrude McDonald Robinson. In 1955, Frances and her family moved to Pampa. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1961 and attended Texas Women’s University for a short time. Frances married Carl O’Neal on October 4, 1962.

Frances worked for many of her family’s businesses, helping wherever she could. She enjoyed cooking during the holidays for her family and decorating her home. Frances had a true talent for making her house feel like a home. Her biggest passion in life was her family. She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. Frances always had a great time with her family at their lakehouse in Granbury. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Lytle and Gertrude Robinson; and two sons, Kevin O’Neal and Colin O’Neal.

She is survived by her husband, Carl O’Neal of the home; one son, Chris O’Neal and wife Kerri of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one sister, Rita Robinson of Pampa; seven grandchildren, Kirby Fletcher, Jordan O’Neal, Chad O’Neal, Cami O’Neal, Chelsea Sweat, Corbin O’Neal, and Chloe O’Neal; three great-grandchildren, Riley, Hayden, and Sadie; and her two cats, Daisy and Lily.
