Frank Allen Williams, 81, of Clarendon, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Cedar Park, Texas.
A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Saint Stephen Church of Amarillo, officiated by Dr. Jim Smith, Senior Pastor Emeritus. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM at White Deer Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Viewing will be held at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory in Pampa, Texas on Thursday from 12:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the funeral home.

Born on March 24, 1944, in Clarendon, Texas, Frank was the son of Horace and Mary Louise Williams. He grew up in White Deer, where he graduated from high school before earning his bachelor’s degree from West Texas State University. On June 5, 1965, he married Colleen Rae Crawford. Frank worked for 28 years as a manager at JI Case, then became a part-owner at Case IH for another eight years. After retiring, he owned and operated Trophy Taxidermy for 13 years. His leadership and dedication left a lasting impression.
A longtime member of St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church of Amarillo and later the First Baptist Church of Howardwick, Frank’s faith was central to his life. Frank also found joy in the great outdoors through hunting and fishing. He was a gifted musician who loved to sing and play the guitar, sharing his melodies with family and friends. Frank also enjoyed snow skiing, softball, basketball, and soccer.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Donald Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Colleen Williams; daughters, Stephanie Hein of Bertram, Angela Petee of Cedar Park, and Rebecca Cooper of Lubbock; sister, Lynette Williams Zurline of Marshall; eight grandchildren, Johnathan, Zech, and Christian Hein, Kilee West Lovell, Kalee and Kendee West, Shelby Cooper Hodnett, and Brandon Cooper; three great-grandchildren; and many other beloved family members and friends. Frank was a husband, a father, a Big Papa, a friend, a mentor, and a disciple of the Lord. He will be greatly missed.
