Gael Enrique Montes

Gael Enrique Montes, infant, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at Children's Medical Center in Dallas.

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 8, 2021 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jesus Rivera, pastor at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Dumas, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Gael was born on August 31, 2021 in Borger to Omar Montes and Jennifer Rios. He looked like his father, but his eyes were like his mother's. Gael was always smiling and curious about everything going on around him. He was deeply loved by his entire family.

Survivors included his parents, Omar Montes and Jennifer Rios of the home; his grandparents, Javier Rios and Andriana Tamayo of Pampa and Martin Montes and Armida Ornelas of Pampa; his great-grandparents, Herminia Rios of Pampa, Rosa Tamayo and Guadalupe Tamayo of Pampa, Genoveva Granillo of Mexico, and Velia Rodriguez of Mexico; a cousin and numerous aunts and uncles.
