Gary Dean Travis

Gary Dean Travis, 60, of Pampa, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 at his home.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Gary was born on August 15, 1965 in Dallas to Guyion Earl Travis III and Joy Dean Warren Travis. He attended school in Mesquite and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1983. Gary moved to Pampa in 2004. He enjoyed riding his bike around town and playing games of all kinds. When his parents were no longer able to care for themselves, Gary stepped in to care for them. He will be remembered as a loving brother and son.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Dean Travis.

He is survived by his father, Guyion Earl Travis III of the home; sister, Terri Dingle and husband Jay of Cypress; niece and nephew, Kimberly Bond and husband Tanner and Jason Dingle and wife Erica; and four great-nieces and nephews, Emily, Kendall, Jack and Evelyn “Joy”.
