Lottie Gaylene Bradley, 70, of Pampa, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, July 27, 2025 in Amarillo.
Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Christian Community Church, 1633 N. Nelson, Pampa, Texas with Pastor Ben Corbitt, pastor of Faith Tabernacle Church officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 6:00-7:30 PM.
Gaylene was born August 20, 1954 in Pampa to James “Speck” and Shirley Winborne. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1972 and went on to further her education at West Texas State University in Canyon. On June 2, 1973, she married the love of her life, James Bradley. Early on in their marriage, Gaylene worked outside the home for a few years before their daughters were born. She was blessed to be a stay home mom and be very active in her girl’s activities. Gaylene was involved and supported numerous PTA’s, booster clubs, Beaux Arts Dance Studio, and Study Club of Pampa where she served as President. She was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Gaylene was a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Church for over 40 years. She served as the Director of Children’s Sunday School for 25 years. Gaylene had strong Christian values and was willing to serve where she was needed.
Gaylene was well organized in everything she did, she always had a notepad around to keep notes and to stay on track. She was a very generous person who loved to give. Gaylene was strong-willed at times, her family knew it would be difficult to change her mind once she had made a decision. She loved big and enjoyed celebrating birthdays and holidays to the fullest. Gaylene enjoyed decorating her house for every holiday, she would go all out to make it perfect. Her decorating skills extended beyond her family, helping with numerous community events.
She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Speck” Winborne and Shirley Winborne.
Survivors include her husband, James Bradley of the home; two daughters, Amy Wyn Ladd and husband Aaron and Abby Gayle Foster and husband Lincoln all of Amarillo; she was “GiGi” to her 5 grandchildren, Rhett Ladd, Grant Ladd, Duke Foster, Rockwell Foster, and Beau Foster; sister, Jamie White and husband Scott of Pampa; brother, Tommy Winborne and wife Jamie of Pampa; sister-in-law, Pat Stucker and husband Larry of Pampa; aunt, Carla Blair and husband Kenny of Lubbock; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
