Georgia Von Kanel

Georgia Von Kanel, 84, of Pampa, died November 8, 2017 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Fairview Cemetery, with Ricky Von Kanel, her son, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Von Kanel was born July 12, 1933 in Denton. She married Earnest Von Kanel, and he preceded her in death in 1982. Georgia had been a resident of Pampa since 1992. She was a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, George Von Kanel and wife Laura, and Ricky Von Kanel and wife Brenda, all of Houston; a sister, Jeannie Conner of Amarillo; two brothers, Mitch Kennedy of Amarillo and Doyle Kennedy of North Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Georgia was also preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Bessie Kennedy; two sons, Darrell Von Kanel and Stacy Von Kanel; three sisters and a brother.
